Children's Ministry

We are committed to helping parents, grandparents, guardians, etc. raise children to be in relationship with God and others.

Sunday Morning Children’s Church

Children are welcome in all aspects of our worship service. Children are invited to stay with their adults during worship or to stay for the first part of the worship service and then to attend Children’s Church with Abby our Director of Children’s Ministries and her Safe Gatherings Certified helpers.
Children’s Church is for kids in Fifth Grade and younger.

The nursery is open for kids three years old and younger. You can check you child in starting at 9:45 AM. The nursery is staffed by Safe Gatherings Certified congregation members.

Children also can participate in Conversations with Kids every First Sunday of the Month. During Fellowship Hour (9-10 AM) Kids take a jar full of questions around and invite folks to choose a question and answer it. It’s a sweet way to encourage multi-generational conversation, community, and relationship.

Children’s Events

As an intergenerational church we take care to make sure there are activities and learning opportunities for Fairview Folks of all ages. We offer many events throughout the year for children and adults such as:

Holy Week Worship Children’s Church in April
Neighborhood Spring Social and Egg Hunt in April
Summer Kick Off Movie Night in May
Blessing of the Backpacks in August
