Children are welcome in all parts of our worship service. We offer Children’s Church during our worship service for those in fifth grade and younger. Nursery care is available for children two and younger and is offered starting at 9:45 AM.

Children are welcome to stay with their families or join our Children’s Church leader Abby and her assistants to learn about the scripture we will focus on during the rest of the worship service. They will do crafts, have games, outdoor time (weather permitting) and fellowship.

Children will begin worship with their adult(s) and participate in the Opening Hymn, Call to Worship, Opening Prayer, Children’s Moment, Joys and Concerns, and the Prayers of the People. This gives children experience with sanctuary worship and enables them to observe the adults in their lives and church community worshiping God, sharing joys and concerns, and praying.

After the Prayers of the People children are invited to go to Children’s Church which takes place just across the narthex from the sanctuary in the church office/library.

Children’s Church centers around the scripture which is read during the worship service so adults and children can discuss the scripture after services.

Sundays when we celebrate Holy Communion the children will come into the sanctuary to participate and will return to their seats with their adults for the closing hymn.
Sundays when we do not have Holy Communion adults can pick up their children from the church office/library.
