Pentecost Potluck

We’re having a potluck lunch on Pentecost, Sunday, June 5th. Pentecost is when the followers of Jesus received the Holy Spirit after his ascension.

Luke tells us, “…suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them.” – from Acts 2:1-21

Red is the color for Pentecost. If you remember, wear red or orange or yellow to worship!

Bring a dish to share.

As stewards of God’s creation we are trying to reduce waste by not using disposable plates and cutlery. If you are able, bring plates and forks from home. We’ll also have dishes from the church kitchen.
